Each full hosting account comes with full support for ASP, Microsoft .Net Server Side Includes (SHTML), the latest PHP engine and MS-XML. Each account comes with full unrestricted FTP Access to upload and manage web content.

Disk Space

All our hosting plans are run on the latest version of Windows. This has a proven record for providing fast and reliable hosting solutions on both a shared and dedicated platform.

Monthly Data Transfer Quotas

Each time your site is accessed data is transferred across the Internet, our transfer limits are high, less than 1% of our customers exceed them. Our control panels provide daily updates to show the data transfer you are consuming, and should your predicted figure exceed the quota an email notification will be issued. You can either pay for the additional usage on a pro-rata basis, or upgrade to the next hosting plan.

Domain Name Registration Or Transfer

One domain name can be registered with your hosting plan. This is included at no additional charge. Alternatively if you have a domain registered elsewhere we can assist in transferring it, and taking care of future domain renewals included in the cost of the plan.

You can map as many domains as you like to your hosting plan. They will all display the same website and share the same mail settings. It isn't possible however for you to point domains to specific directories, effectively allowing you to run multiple websites from the one hosting plan. This would require you to purchase a new hosting plan from us.

Email

POP3 Mailboxes

A POP3 mailbox is essentially a password protected area where mail is stored until you are ready to read it using a mail client such as Microsoft Outlook. You can create a mailbox for each person or department in your organization.

Auto-Responders

Auto-responders reply to incoming email instantly and automatically. You can set and change the text of the reply and the trigger address whenever you like. Auto-responders are ideal for customer service or informing people when you are away.

Multi-Recipient Addresses

A multi-recipient address enables a single email message to be delivered to multiple POP3 mailboxes or external email addresses within in your organization. MRAs are ideal for distributing staff bulletins and memos quickly and efficiently.

Unlimited Email Addresses

Configure as many email addresses at your domain name(s) as required. Mail to any address can be sent either to a POP3 mailbox on our server or forwarded to an existing email address elsewhere. Mail sent to an address for which you have not configured a specific destination can be sent to a default location.

Webmail

As well as the ability of reading your mail using your mail client, we also provide you with access to a feature packed webmail for access on the move.

Classic ASP

ASP is a powerful server side scripting language ideal for the creation of dynamic data driven web sites. Our Windows 2003 servers run the latest version of IIS offering full support for ASP scripts.

ASP.NET Technologies [Versions 1.1 and 2.0]

Through our unique control panel you can automatically install Microsoft's ASP.NET framework to take advantage of some of the latest web technologies available.

MSXML Scripting

XML allows developers to easily describe and deliver rich, structured data from any application in a standard, consistent way. Version 4 of the Microsoft XML Parser is installed on our servers.

FrontPage 2002 Extensions

FrontPage 2002 Extensions are available for installation at an additional charge of £15 per annum, allowing you to use Microsoft's popular and easy to use web authoring software.

We can provide you access to both shared and professional SSL solutions. Our shared SSL solutions utilise the generic SSL address of securedweb.co.uk and the professional certificates allow access to your own certificate and IP address.

Server Side Includes

Server Side Includes enable the addition of dynamic elements to your HTML web pages. Automatically insert dates and file information as well as calling external programs such as hit counters.

All our servers and support staff are based in the UK. We operate and place our servers outside of high risked capital locations, whilst connected to Tier 1 high speed networks, ensuring your web sites are always made available to service sensitive clients.
